The Treehouse team is made up of co-teachers that foster a strong feel of community in our school. We all work together equally to enrich the program for both the children and families. Our teachers have beautiful backgrounds that have helped form each one into a strong asset to our staff. They all bring their own individual talents, passions, skills and personalities to The Treehouse Nursery.

All teachers at The Treehouse are enrolled in the Criminal History Registry and are required to have their First Aid/CPR Certification and Food Handler’s Card. Teachers who provide care for more than 20 hours in a calendar year undergo at least 15 hours of childcare training per year and have completed the “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse” class through the state of Oregon. Also, each teacher has familiarized themselves with the school’s policies and procedures, as well as the state requirements for an in-home preschool.

The Treehouse provides a fourth teacher between 9:00-3:00 to maximize the quality of care and safety of your child.

Note: this is aTreehouse Nursery standard. The state only requires one teacher for up to 8 students, and 2 teachers for up to 16 students.
